What others are saying…

Monica, you have brought so much joy into my home. Your gracious presence made the first weeks with a newborn baby fun and even exciting. I am really grateful for your amazing organizing abilities; I love the fact that I can just open the closet and find J’s clothes organized by age and season. The highlight for me were the lunches you prepared for me, because they fed my heart and soul as much as they satisfied my appetite. Your nurturing meals remind me that I’m always nourished in every way. With deepest gratitude and love.

I was so glad Monica was there for me after the birth of my first child. As a new mom I looked forward to her weekly visits, not only for her knowledge and expertise, but for her companionship and friendship. As a new mom, that was not breastfeed, I did not have the support system in place to help me with breastfeeding my son, Monica was there to lend support and encouragement and assured me I was doing the best thing possible for my son (he is now a thriving 13 lb. 11 week old). She was there to offer support and suggestions, however I never felt as if I were being judged for the decisions I made. She always made me feel as if I was the best mom and doing a great job and it was great to have her confidence, especially when I questioned myself at times. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind and helped made the transition into motherhood as seamless as possible and for that I am forever grateful.

Dear Monica, it was wonderful getting to know you through my pregnancy and early motherhood. More than anything, you supported me in remaining brave and trusting in my future. I took off my talisman bracelet when Bowie and I arrived in Cairo, breathing a huge sigh of relief. One long leg of my journey was accomplished, and the rest of my journey lays ahead. I look at the bracelet on my dresser in the morning and I think about the energy it brought me, the hope that it gave me through pregnancy, labor and new motherhood. Thank you for that talisman, I really needed it. Much love, FosterFoster
